3 Mobile wanted to increase the range of ID’s accepted when customers applied for contracts in store, as well as to prevent retail fraud.
IDscan worked with 3 Mobile to build an ID scanning system that completely automated the authentication process for the in-store agent. During August 2010 IDscan rolled out 325 ID and passport authentication systems across 3 Mobile’s entire UK retail network.
IDscan’s ID Scanners and passport scanners use near infra-red, ultraviolet and smart card technology together with hyper-advanced mathematical authentication algorithms.
IDscan authenticated more than 3000+ documents including passports, visas, ID cards, driving licenses and work permits.
